Hemp oil, cold pressed

The Northern Slavs worshiped hemp! No other plant gave so many benefits to people living in the harsh regions of Russia as this one: the basis for fabric and ropes, tow and building materials, oil and seeds in various dishes.

Hemp fed the Russian people for centuries! Then the traditions were lost... Sunflower and soy replaced hemp oil , buckwheat and rice replaced hemp porridge . And even later, hemp became unfairly associated with a narcotic potion. And all this was done for a reason (there will be a separate article about this!), but for now... in our time, you and I - have to return what was lost!..

Hemp oil is a unique food product ! In Russia , until the 17th century, no other oil was known except hemp and flaxseed. But if flax did not grow everywhere, hemp was a ubiquitous plant, it could be easily collected without farming.

It contains the maximum amount of unsaturated fatty acids , compared to other known oils. The scientific community has long confirmed the need for humans in polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 and Omega-6 , however, of primary importance is not only the fact of the presence of these acids in the product, but the CORRECT COMBINATION ! So - in hemp seed oil this ratio is close to ideal for humans!

It has also been scientifically established that the human body requires approximately 2-3 grams of Omega-3 and 4-6 grams of Omega-6 every day. This amount of unsaturated fatty acids can be obtained by consuming just 1 tablespoon of hemp oil per day!

Hemp seeds are rich in useful micro- and macroelements: zinc, iron, calcium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur. Hemp is a source of rare and very important elements - mesoinositol and phytin . Mesoinositol , also called vitamin B8 , is necessary for carbohydrate metabolism, participates in the metabolism of purines, in the biosynthesis of important elements and regulates the level of cholesterol in the blood. Phytin is a vitamin-like element that has a valuable effect - preventing fatty liver with a lack of protein food in the diet.

In addition, hemp seeds contain pectins , which protect the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines, neutralize putrefactive bacteria and restore natural microflora.

Hemp seed oil - contains all twenty amino acids , including essential ones, necessary for the proper functioning of the body and maintaining a normal level of metabolic processes.

Application:
In order to improve immunity, improve health and protect the genitourinary system, as well as to prevent various diseases (including cancer), it is recommended to take hemp oil 1 tablespoon 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals . The minimum course of taking milk thistle oil is 40 days.

It is also useful to consume hemp oil as part of porridge, salads, vinaigrettes, sauces, gravies, and to use it in the preparation of other culinary dishes.
